This place is a landmark, I don't care where you live in the Bay, you know exactly where to get a Hoagie in Oakland. I've been eating here since I was a teenager and nothing has changed. The taste, the ppl, the fast pace of cooking and multitasking plus the family vibe from the staff. If it ain't a hoagie from Mills, I'm not eating it.

Hood classic. Great food. There are plenty of great choices. One of Oaklands gems that has delivered consistency for years. The prices are extremely affordable. The service is quick. Food is always made fresh. I repeat ALWAYS made fresh which is key. My go to is the cheesesteak hoagie with extra onions and peppers. You can pass on the fries. I usually substitute mine for chips. They also make burgers which I haven't tried yet. Overall, this is a very underrated spot that you need to try.
